A challenge of creating a microsite to inform Havas associates about ShopYourWay, is that it is a deep value proposition involving many subbrands for services within Sears Holdings. At the wireframe level, I first worked to simplify this message and break it down visually in a way that wouldn't overwhelm the user.
Moving into a high fidelity HTML prototype, I began designing assets concurrently. To visually explain the many benefits of a SYW account, I adopted a simplified flat illustration style that could communicate the benefit itself in a very literal way, avoiding obscure subrands that the target users most likely would have no familiarity with.
The two main goals of the site aside from simply explaining SYW, were to collect data about the user's experience with the platform and guide them through the (sometimes complex) activation process. To accomplish this I referenced some best in class feedback forms and instructional modals and applied those learnings to the final design.
