The client ask for this site design was to update the very outdated live site and also create a more mobile friendly experience for users. I utilized Sketch and Invision to develop the look and feel in close collaboration with the client side team, reacting quickly to feedback in a clickable wireframe.
Laying styling and design onto the wireframe itself helped avoid "surprises" at design review. We used a narrative/editorial structure to really tell the story of Ace Hardware and also give the site plenty of room to grow.
Delightful illustrations and animations help to bullet many of the points of the Ace story and value proposition throughout the site experience.
