Ace Hardware wanted to produce a digital extension of their in-store color of the year contest. In the contest, customers can mix a pre-determined grouping of Clark + Kensington paint colors to create an all-new custom color that they can them name and submit to become an official pre-mixxed CK paint color to be sold at stores across the country.

After a wireframe and prototyping stage, our team focused on creating a fun and animation packed landing page to begin explaining how the contest works and build excitement around the Spring '18 launch.
On launch, users could log on to the site and create custom color mixes and their own paint name to submit to the contest, on their desktop or their mobile devices thanks to a clean responsive design.
The contest was enormously successful for The Paint Studio website, generating over 10K pageviews and a 30% increase in total users/registered accounts.
